Thank you, thank you, thank you - I can say it a 1000 x to you and all the others who worked so hard and committed themselves and their reputations to better the Wainui community in so many ways. From a seed can grow a kauri and thats whats happened as a community. Please pass on my personal thanks to everyone you meet who contributed - including the councillors who in the end also contributed to our cause - they, like all the other submitters, saw our side of the proposal - they too can be included in our celebration of open dialogue. I'm in Kansas City for 3 months but distance doesn't minimise my celebration and willingness to continue to make Wainui my home. Thank you again and others - its been a long road and now we shall continue to be an active, responsible group moving forward together.

Hi there. Please accept our appreciation of the hard work your team has done in this process so far. As I live in Taupo but own a property in Lysnar St and it was great to be able to read your web site to get a feel for what was happening. We look forward to new ideas being put forward that will help protect the environment at Wainui. Thanks again

To the spearheading team out on the coast! Thank-you for providing such a strong backbone over several months past re the reticulation issue. If we win this 'no' to the proposal which I cannot believe we won't then it makes me wonder about the many other 'good' things we could achieve in this community. A celebration of some sort perhaps at the school in the school grounds could be planned Keep the network going

We are so appreciative of all that you folks have done. We've ALL done a wonderful thing towards saving this community from the disaster that was facing us. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Especially to those who did most of the organising and research work. I'd like support the idea that we have some kind of get together - and add to that celebration a brainstorming session. I believe we need to get ideas flowing about how we want to go forward from here and begin to create the groundwork for the "COLLABORATIVE APPROACH BETWEEN US AND COUNCIL" that was discussed yesterday. You guys are probably tired of all this "stuff" and just want to have a rest. But may I suggest that a general thank you be sent to everyone before this thing gets cold. Ask for ideas on what people would like to do in the way of a celebration / brainstorming get together. Perhaps a mid winter party in the school hall would be good. Thanks Again All You Marvelous People.
